This policy explains what personal data ENERGY Music collects through energymusic.co.uk, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.

ENERGY Music is a production music label based in the United Kingdom. Being Human Music Limited is the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about privacy at contact@energymusic.co.uk.

What we collect and why
When you use the contact form or email us
We collect your name, email address, the topic you choose and your message. We use them only to read and reply to your enquiry and to keep a record of our correspondence. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Messages are delivered to our email inbox. We keep correspondence for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and delete it within 24 months unless we have an ongoing working relationship with you.
When you visit the site
Like any website, our hosting provider’s servers record technical information in their logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. This is used to keep the site secure and working, and is deleted automatically after a short period. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we do not build profiles of visitors.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not set any cookies when you browse it. The “Selected tracks” player plays audio files hosted on this site, so listening involves no third parties.

Links to other websites
Album links take you to Universal Production Music, which licenses our catalogue and runs its own website under its own privacy policy. Our Instagram and Facebook links take you to those platforms, which have their own policies. We have no control over data collected by other websites.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our email: our web host, Krystal Hosting Ltd, which stores this site on servers in the UK, and our email provider. They process data only on our instructions. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it, or restrict or object to how we use it. To make a request, email contact@energymusic.co.uk. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, though we would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
